For what it's worth, Sake, Bugs, and Angels has a translation from a Japanese website naming some of the voice actors of the new series. A quick glance at my DVDs confirms that the three goddesses will again be voiced by the same crew as in the OAVs and Movie, at least in Japan.

Has anybody checked the Feather website? It's got the seiyuus/staff, which may not exactly be new information, but here's the link: www.noblescarlet.net/news/

Man the only thing i want to see is only TWO THINGS: 1) Keiichi kicking some ass (remeber when he has an angel and used it to attackt the angel eater?) 2) Keiichi and Bell, getting married and having some kids. But i think the first one is the only one ever happening

According to a post over on the Anime Suki Forum, this is an announcement of some sort involving the new anime series. If any of the more Japanese literate members here would like to take a look and see what (if anything) is being said, I'd appreciate it. www.tbs.co.jp/anime/festa/sakuhin/info.html

I'm sure a lot of people have already seen this, but I'll just post this here and put my spin on things.
My kids decided to get me an early Xmas present and just gave me the December issue of the English version of Newtype magazine with the Ghoda interview and the OMG section. If you haven't already read it, here's what I got out of it. . .
One. They're starting the series all over from when Bell comes to grant Keiichi's wish and primarily following the manga, though they may try combining the best elements of the OAVs as well. Mr.Ghoda wants to recreate how Bell and K-1 slowly came to know each other and not rush Urd and Skuld in. How many episodes he's going to take to do this isn't clear as many of the earlier stories could be combined, but he seems to want to include the whole story. This supports the report that the preview showing of the first episode included Bell coming out of the mirror.
Two. Mr. Fujishima and Mr. Ghoda have signed on for the long haul. They have plans to carry this out as far as they can down the story line, and seem to have Kodansha and AIC's backing. The implication from the article and other sources is that they've already roughly divided the manga into start and finish segments for each series release. My guess would be that the ground work (at least) for further episode blocks is in place.
Three. The American release is very much a part of their plan, they're counting on a big part of their return on investment coming from overseas. Which would support a fast track release of an English language version.
Four. They intend to use as much state of the art animation techniques (CGI) as they can, but to make it fit seamlessly with more traditional animation systems. Mr. Ghoda seems to like CGI efficency and capabilities for tech animation but old style cell work for charactors. I'm guessing that means there'll be a sort of Cowboy Bebop look to the finished product.
Feel free to correct anything you think I've misinterpreted.

Wow. I didn’t know any of this. Um, I don’t understand 3, but that’s probably because I’m thick.
Seeing as you obviously know more then me, is there any news on when Dark Horse will re-release the Ah my Goddess manga (right-left)? And also, how often will we have to wait between releases? I keep checking every month on the upcoming releases section on their web site and there has been no news on it since they reported they will release them.

I got the impression, that they where going to start over from the beginning when I saw that Newtype also. The Picture of Belldandy in the dorms is kinda a big give away (I'll scan it later, probably tomorrow for the people not in the know). Altho after reading those articles one thing comes to mind. Mr Ghoda said that Mr. Fujishima is "God"....does that mean hes the ALMIGHTY? Can't imagine him with long hair. I know Morgan Le Fay was an original character to the movie (as if said in the mag also). But what about Celestine? He's not meationed in the manga and I've got 27 of the Japanese ones also and I dont remember seeing him in any of them? Inoue Kikuko-Sama playing Belldandy again...I'm SO happy ;D

I think Ghoda was saying Morgan is a character he created so he liked her best, in terms of which girl he liked best in the series. He probably created Celestine too,but the interviewer was more interested in which girl/goddess he preferred.

I posted this over on Sake, Bugs, and Angels in response to similar question.
"The last word we pried out of Phil at Dark Horse was that three new format graphic novels were to be released each year once they started, and that the already released novels would be reformated and re-released on a seperate schedule independent of the new stuff. I believe the Sora Unchained novel is going to be in the old format, but don't hold me to that.
So far all attempts by your's truely to get any further information as to when the new material will start seems to have fallen on deaf ears."
Number three refers to the all important question of,
"WHEN THE HECK ARE WE GONNA GET THE NEW ANIME OVER HERE IN THE GOOD OL' U.S. of A.!!!!"
I think what he's implying is that Celestin was probably at least partially created by Mr. Fujishima for the movie while Morgan was entirely Mr. Ghoda's. There's indications that Mr. Fujishima may have drawn a prototype for Celestin in the Velsper arc (which was coming out at that time) escorting Bell-chan up the stairs to the doubleting chamber.

I'm a little surprised at them only releasing 3 new volumes a year, but then that will leave a little more money for me to purchase all the other manga I've gotten hooked on. I'm glad about the unflipped art and *may* repurchase the stuff I already own. Two things will factor into that. One would be the use of Japanese honorifics in the text. Another would be inclusion of the extras in the original Japanese volumes. However, I get the feeling that DH will only be unflipping their graphic novels and not following the Japanese ones. Oh, another thing that would interest me would be extras about culture and translator notes. Del Rey is doing this (in addition to doing the Japanese honorifics) and they are getting MUCH love (and much dollars since I'm now buying three of their manga titles) from me. I've lobbied FUNimation since I want their superior subtitles. However, I would hope for the dub fans sake that if they score the title, they would use the same seiyuu that AnimEigo used. I expect the new TV series will be fansubbed, but what I don't know is how fast a license will be announced.
