A friendly bit of advice, you really should have put these topics into one topic or at elast written down your own opinions. It provides a good starting point for other posters and shows you put real effort into making a good topic. And what are her measurments? Answer: Changing, she is still growing after all. As for my opinion on her, it depends on the version. My favorite was probably the original manga Skuld, before she became the possessive witch she was so often for much of the series. She was still Skuld, but at the same time she didn't interfere with Belldandy and Keiichi, and was openly nice to Keiichi. My next favorite would be the more mature Skuld we see in the OAV and especially the movie. There's much to admire about her love for Belldandy, little machine-related quirks, pride over her genius etc. Of course, manga Skuld is similar in many ways, and there is much to like about her. However, her severe lack of character development, indeed the de-evolution she seemed to undergo after the Lord of Terror arc, made her difficult to stand for much of the series. There are only so many times you can listen to her hate-filled, paranoid jealous rants before wanting to strangle her or at least snap that hammer in half. ^_^ Even when she finally did begin developing, around the Sentaro stories, she still retained most every aspect that I disliked about her. I'm fine with characters having flaws, as long as they are semi-realistic ones and/or they mature out of them with reasonable speed. However, in more recent years (post-Sigel stories), Skuld has admittedly become much more likable, finally beginning to grow out of her old habits and mature, allowing the great features of her character to stand out more. ^_^ However, I still long for the day when Skuld at last fully accepts Belldandy and Keiichi's relationship, stops violently meddling in it, and gets past the silly idea that Keiichi is taking Belldandy away from her. Only after that will she be able to fully develop into the wonderful goddess she is destined to become.

I agree with what Perentie is saying (especially about your posting! ) I like Skuld alot. I don't enjoy her whining but since it's not directed at me it doesn't annoy me, either. Maybe I have thick skin to that whiney little girl stuff, living with three whiney little 'tween' aged girls myself! I like Skuld's comical side. She makes me laugh alot of the time because out of all the characters she has the most running gags going for her: She and K1 always having the same facial expressions, her possesiveness of Bell, and her mechanical fetish. ^^;; I find her paranoia over Belldandy funny and although I do like stories where she matures and grows, I also like Skuld's extreme amount of flaws. Skuld is fighting so hard against her own feeling for her sister and K1 and she herself doesn't understand them most of the time. I don't know I like that coming of age confusion she has going on. Plus I just really dig the idea a little girl being a totally obsessed mad scientist! Instead of huggling teddy bears she's huggling odd looking machines and tools. LOL I find that hilarious! I think the problem is in this series we don't see enough Skuld only stories, that would give her the chance to grow up abit more. Recently she has reached a pretty decent acceptance of the K1/Bell thing and is pretty mature compared to her own self IMHO.

I agree that Skuld has changed a lot. She'll probably keep on changing, since Fujishima uses her for stories about growing up and maturing. (Iinterestingly, he's put Skuld's creations Sigel and Banpei in similarly-themed stories... but I'll think about that later).
Analysis aside, I love Skuld. She's a really funny character and her 'serious' adventures are some of the cutest and most touching of the series (when she first gets her angel, when she learns to ride a bike).
